Our Colors of Care: A Self‑Care Retreat for Helping Professionals was an incredible success. Helping professionals from across Louisiana gathered for a full day of rest, creativity, and community — all centered on reclaiming joy as an ethical, sustaining part of our work.

Participants moved through a rich variety of activities designed to spark play, reflection, and embodied ease, including:

• Cozy board games and collaborative play

• Puzzles for grounding and quiet focus

• Coloring stations for creative relaxation

• Bubble‑breath and sensory‑based calming practices

• Accessible chair yoga for gentle movement and embodiment
